Mens Flare Pants

Have you ever wondered where the term mens flare pants came from? It could be one of those things that just hits you and says “what?” I don’t know why it strikes you, but it does. I mean look at flare pants! They are very funny when you have a group of guys around, and they all start talking about how much they can flaunt their butts and you can’t help but chuckle.

Back in the early to mid seventies, this fashion was worn by the likes of John Travolta and James Dean, but it has only been in the last few decades that it has become such a popular fashion statement. The reason for this is because flare pants basically made the perfect fashion statement for the eighties and the nineties. This is because they are so unique and that’s why people fell in love with them. These are pants that are either ripped or worn very loosely. The reason that the men of the eighties and the nineties wore these is because they represented freedom, wild abandon and an excess of masculinity.

The problem with lens flare pants right now is that it has become kind of redundant. There are so many styles out there that it seems like everyone has them, but the thing is, none of them are really any different than what you would wear with a button down shirt. Men still want to wear the stylish and well-cut pants, but they also want something that looks good and is less conspicuous than the jeans that they usually wear. Because of this, mens flare pants are sort of left to sit around and no one is really taking advantage of them. You can find some great deals online if you know where to look, but it seems like everyone has already found a use for them. That means that the trend may never really take off and may stay in the shadows for a bit, but it is definitely worth a try.
