Meghan Agosta is a young Canadian actress and singer who has found herself quite popular in the United States as the host of a popular podcast. Her height and ethnicity are listed as American, Latino and Native American, though her real heritage has roots that go back hundreds of years to the great migration of peoples across the continent. Meghan’s father is originally from Mexico but she grew up in Ohio and eventually moved with her family to Canada where they later acquired a home in British Columbia, Canada. Meghan attended Ryerson University in Canada, where she studied drama but ultimately chose to major in journalism because she loved music and wanted to do something she was passionate about while still finding a way to be a part of the larger culture of the north.
Meghan’s passion for music and her ethnic background have kept her focused on performing even when other opportunities have arisen. She has made multiple appearances on The Late Show with Jay Leno and The Oprah Winfrey Show. She has also appeared in a number of films including the award winning Black Rain. Meghan is also an accomplished artist, contributing her voice to the score of the film Everest as well as writing a book entitled Just Another Girl’s Story.
Meghan has always been open about her ethnic identity and the impact that it has had on her professional life. She has explained how growing up with cultural differences has influenced her views on the world and how these shaped her views of relationships and personal success. She has gone on to talk about how being Latino has helped her navigate the Hollywood scene and how her natural good looks have contributed to her being cast as a lead character in a popular television show. Meghan has talked candidly about her love of opera and she hopes one day to be able to tell all of the stories of her many nationalities in order to help people discover more about their own nationalities.
