Luisa Fernanda is a Brazilian Nationality, born in Santa Maria do Guajiru. She is thirty years old and a resident of Sintra and was a political ally of the PT in Brasileiras. Luisa Fernanda lost her seat in the lower house of Congress to PT due to being ineligible for the post of vice-president. But this was before she became the first woman President of Brazil, elected in 2021. The popular consensus opinion is that Luisa Fernanda is the perfect choice for the top job of the country, as she has both a military and political background that is replete with achievements and she is also relatively young, at least compared to the other top candidates put forward by the Brazilian establishment.

Fernanda is the cousin of the former President Lula, who happens to be her cousin, wife and a playmate during the childhood years. Her official nationality is definitely Brazilian, though other than those she married in her younger years, she has claimed to be Portuguese, Chinese and German as well. However, all these claim to have been mere identity issues, as none of her family members ever identified themselves as any of these nationalities and she was never in any way pressured to rename herself. All her names were given by her husband, who happens to be a name that is entirely Spanish by origin, and whom she loved very much.

Being tall and slim, Luisa Fernanda definitely fits the mold of an ideal first lady of a new Brasileiras government, which has only recently began looking for tall and slim women to fill the highest administrative posts left behind by the previous administration. In addition, she would be an extremely effective and charismatic President of Brazil if her center-right approach to politics does not clash with her natural passion for the environment and her personal commitment to social justice and freedom. Her age is not a hindrance in her path to the highest position in government, as she is at the age of sixty-three. It is her years of dedication and service to Brazil that make her worthy of such high honours, and her immense popularity with her country’s younger generation, especially the youth, is an indication of how much she really means to them. She is also an excellent choice as first lady because she has the heart, sensitivity and intelligence to serve effectively as a president of Brazil, in the tradition set by her great-grandmother, the Princesses Clinda.
