Low Rise Baggy Jeans for Everyone
For many women of late college age and beyond, one of the most anticipated fashion trends of the season has been the return of low rise baggy jeans to the fashion scene. Along with slim pants and low-rise shapewear there seems to be a renewed interest in vintage and retro style that’s been missing since the ’80s. In fact, even if you just consider recent years, there is a ton of stylish denim cuts, looks, and colors to choose from this year, which makes finding a pair of low rise jeans a simple task in today’s fashion market.
Fashionistas everywhere have been trying out the low rise baggy jeans trend with mixed results. On one hand, the skinny jeans look has been incredibly popular recently and women can’t get enough of the super low ride and oversized thighs that come with these types of pants. This look is actually very flattering on many different body types. BUT, it is important to remember that not everyone is comfortable in this style. The biggest problem with baggy jeans is the “baggy” area around the hips and this can make some women uncomfortable, especially when coupled with an oversized top.
In terms of whether or not a woman can pull off baggy jeans, the answer largely depends on her individual personality. If she has a fairly small waist and ample hips, then she may find that she looks good in the oversized styles that are currently showing up on the fashion runway. On the other hand, if she has a larger torso and/or a smaller waist, then she may want to stick with the skinny jeans trend that emphasizes her hips and waist as much as her legs.
