Kate Miner is an American actor, singer, and model. She is best known for her role as Holly Golightly in the movie “The Perfect Score” with Drew Barrymore. Other notable film credits include Fifty Shades of Grey, The Campaign, Furious, Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon, A Leading Man, and Bad Mood Fish.
Ms. Miner was born in Southern California, the youngest of four children. Her parents, John Miner and Lucy Joseph, were both artists and her mother had a singing career. After high school she attended college, graduating from Pacific University in Santa Barbara, California. She was also a member of the Aggies, a sorority, for two years.
When she was twenty years old, she decided to get married and relocate to New York City. For the next seven years she was married to David Cook, who was thirty-one at the time. During this time she learned how to sing, and took up dancing as well as singing, playing the piano, and did modeling work. When her marriage ended she decided to get back to acting and her first project was playing a nanny in an adult film. Kate Miner then landed roles in movies such as Swing Vote with Ben Stiller and Edward Scissorhands with Tim Burton. After that she appeared in the musical Anything Can Happen with Steve Martin, and The Pirates of the Caribbean: The Ballad of Peter Pan with Johnny Depp.
