Julia Fox is an American actress and director. She is most famous for her first starring role in the forthcoming movie Uncut, for which she also received a Best Supporting Actor Award at the 2021 Gotham Awards. Her other credits include the TV shows 24, Hawaii 5, ER, The Firm, The Sopranos, The Shield, Scrubs, and Grey’s Anatomy. She has also appeared in some films set in New York, including the films Swing Vote with Drew Barrymore, and Mojo There.
Julia’s birthday is June 3rd. According to her bio on Wikipedia, her “height and nationality are somewhat inconsistent; though Fox has used her height, 6’2”, when speaking about her character in Uncut, it is unclear whether this is actually her actual height or if she simply uses her nationality when referring to herself. Regardless of the confusion this may cause, it does not detract from Julia’s acting abilities, as her acting prowess was recognized by the Gotham Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Feature Film. While some may feel her acting skills should be judged by the quality of her screenplays, Julia Fox certainly did make an impressive debut in her first feature film. In fact, the film was so well written and directed by David Seidler and starring Julia Roberts, that viewers could feel the love story between Fox and Roberts was emotional and real.
The romantic nature of the storyline, along with Julia’s beautiful face, brought the film to widespread critical and commercial success. Though Julia Fox herself has stated on more than one occasions that she had no interest in marrying a black man, the film very easily made that clear by showing her changing attitude toward her ethnicity. And with her rising profile, Julia Fox could very well find herself in a position in the near future where she could potentially be married to a member of the African Diaspora, just as her mother and father were.
