Jenny Wright is now facing murder charges after allegedly killing the 19-year-old after a night out.
Police say Jenny Wright, 27, was at an out-of-town restaurant and took her boyfriend to get him shots of whiskey on Sunday evening.
She then allegedly left the man alone in an upstairs room, and returned to the house where her then-boyfriend, Alex Ward, 19, was shot and stabbed during the alleged attack.
On Tuesday afternoon, an Amber Alert was issued to track her down.

Wright, 27, was arrested hours later in Florida.

‘She used his wallet, credit cards, purse and phone to make purchases during the last nine days, after leaving him alone upstairs for an extended period that included some time at an unrelated business,’ said Detective Joseph D’Amico, Jr. from the Homicide Bureau’s Western District Office in New Jersey.
Ward later died in Harnett Medical Center.
Ward was a student at Saint Joseph’s College with plans to major in public relations, while Wright was an employee at The Fidelity Bank in New Brunswick, a release stated.
‘This is a devastating loss not only for our family, friends, co-workers and all across the Atlantic community, but also for our community in New Brunswick and the state,’ the release added.
‘There has been many concerns about this case from law enforcement partners throughout the state and the national level about the whereabouts of her children. This is not an easy case to solve.’
Police searched Wright’s home in New Brunswick on Monday and discovered her remains. On Tuesday, it was added that the case did not appear to be related to a domestic violence case or a sexual assault.
