Lisa Mishra is an Indian American actress and singer. She’s best known for her recurring role as the character Tareefan from the 2021 movie Veere Di Wedding, which was directed by Shimit Amin. She is thirty-three years old and was born in Louisiana. She attended the Washington University School of Art and Design where she pursued a degree in theatre. She began working on a music degree at the University of Minnesota before dropping that program to pursue an acting career.

Lisa has played different characters in both the film and the theatre. She did an uncountable number of voice roles in movies such as Pleasantville, Awakenings, and Invictus. She was also nominated for an Emmy for her work on Invictus. This is Lisa’s first English language role. She lives in New York City.
