Based from both New York and London, illustrator Angelica Hicks has been taking digital social media by storm ever since she first began posting on Instagram. Her career started when she began posting on Instagram. In addition to her social networking efforts, she has also collaborated with Vogue, Net-a-Porter and Harper’s Bazaar UK. Hicks has also contributed articles to The Guardian and The Hollywood Gossip. One of her illustrations was selected as the cover of the book “Guerilla Arts: Refine Your Style by Jenniferalshooters” by Marloes Hanley.

Angelica Hicks has also recently joined the ranks of illustrators who are bidding farewell to the fashion world with a book entitled “Bid farewell to all things: Illustrations”. This book was released in spring of this year by Hanley, a creative director at Houghton Mifflin St Louis, and it features illustrations from all over the globe. Among the subjects included are Japanese culture, Indian wedding wear, Middle Eastern attire and more. Of course, we cannot forget Angelica’s amazing rendering of Donald Trump for a cover of the same book.

As you can see, Angelica Hicks has a strong desire to draw from a variety of resources to help create her illustrations. In addition to being an artist, Hicks has used her photography to create some of her work. Her illustrations from Instagram have won her several awards, including a pair of Gold medalist pins from the International Academy of Designers. You can learn more about her work on her website and Instagram account. Both accounts are a great way to keep up with what Angelica Hicks is doing in her business these days.
