In the 21st century the world of pop culture and pop fashion is hotter than ever. Pop stars, movie stars, fashion designers and celebrities are all part of this global phenomena that is now known as pop culture. Trends in clothing, cosmetics, literature, video games, music and more are becoming bigger each and every year. It seems that nowadays no matter what is happening in your home you will always find something that is appealing to the eyes or that is currently in style. Fashion trends also influence how people think about themselves, what they want out of life and what they will settle for if they don’t get it.

The pop culture effect can be seen in many aspects of modern society. The movie industry, pop stars and music artists all have given their opinions on the current pop fashion trends. Celebrities like Britney Spears, Madonna and President Obama are not afraid to express their opinions on fashion trends and they are still seen as some of the most popular and influential women in the world. Pop stars like Lady GaGa are influencing younger women with their music and their styles. It appears as if these celebrities are trying to help young women to become better people who are confident with their own sexuality and are not afraid to express it.

While many of today’s pop stars are trying to break the mold and be unique by creating their own styles and music, they are actually still following the same fashion trends that were popular years ago. This is what makes them appealing to the younger generation. As pop stars we are continuously being told that our lives are not true unless it is a rock song, a love story and a fashion show or video. If the world of pop culture continues to influence so many aspects of our lives then it will be very difficult for anyone to stop being influenced.
