There are a few things that I would suggest you go for if you want to make sure that your daughter always has a new DIY hat rack to use. The first is to buy a good book on cat care, preferably one about fashion. In this way, the kids will know what’s up and what’s out there. I know that my daughter really loves Barbie dolls and she has her own Barbie headband, so when I say ‘out there’ I mean that she wears it on the head, the top and maybe even the bottoms sometimes! Anything she wants, as long as it’s in style.
Secondly, make sure that the rack she has her DIY hats on is very high up on her closet. Why? Because the higher up it is, the more stuff she can store in it. If it’s hanging low then it means that she has to make sure that there’s enough space to reach it, or even squeeze it in between the walls. The last thing you want is your little girl to open her closet and see all her messy clothes lying there. Also, if it’s too high up, then you might accidentally put something else in it that she didn’t want.
The last step I think that you need to take into consideration is how to hang it. You don’t necessarily want the hanger to be straight up and down, but it should be leaning back and down a little. If you want to get creative, you could make a DIY hat rack looks like a ladder and use a scarf or some old clothes as the hangers. Again, make sure that the rack itself looks good and stylish in your daughter’s room so she doesn’t dread putting on her hat’s one day.
