The current holiday fashion trends are centered around the themes of Christmas, New Year’s Eve and Spring break. As we all know, spring break is a time of year when many people go to enjoy a short vacation in a tourist destination. Most people choose to go to one of the many sandy beaches that surround the Caribbean Islands or even Mexico. Some people opt for a cruise ship to experience the excitement of the cruise line, while others choose a trip to the beaches for a more relaxed vacation.
This past year was not a good year for clothing style with most of the major department stores seeing a major slump in sales. This was because of the economic situation, but this didn’t stop the holiday fashion trends from changing this year. These are very short skirts that are made from the current fashion fabric of stretch denim. Other styles include mini skirts and capris.
This year is also full of popular music and dance movies such as ‘Hairspray’. Christmas is the season for decorating the home with wreaths and trees that have been decorated with flowers and tinsel. As we come down the old-fashioned route of wrapping paper, we also have the Christmas tree that looks like a giant ice skating rink. For women, the most popular holiday style for this year will be the skorts that come in many different colors and patterns including bright pinks, blues, purples and yellows. For men, the key is to make sure they select a shirt with a logo on it, whether it’s sports related or not. The shirt that they wear should also be comfortable as they will be standing for quite some time during the holiday season.
