Kate Rise is a British actress and model from London, England. Her real name is Susan Steadman and was professionally known as Susan Taylor until she got herself into some serious trouble at the age of 16 when she was arrested for shoplifting from a Marks and Spencers store in her town. At that age, Kate was already known by the name Susan Taylor and a Nationality could not be verified. She had lived in various different countries before coming to Britain, including her native Ireland where she enjoyed a brief spell as a dancer. Nowadays, Kate has just returned to her homeland, England and has signed with famous fashion designer John Galliano, who manages to create many a successful campaign through the fashion houses of all over the world.

In the period just before Kate’s marriage to Richard Jordan, she took part in a series of daring escapades that would give her more than enough opportunity to practice the various skills she had learnt in her previous career as a dancer teacher. It was during this period that she decided to take on a more serious role in acting, playing a major character in a highly acclaimed film called “A Midsummer’s Night Dream”. Following the performance, she appeared in “Titanic” as Rose, which was one of the most celebrated movies of all time. During the late sixties, Kate rose to prominence when she portrayed Miss Watson in the BBC sitcom “imeters”. Later, she appeared in the movie “A Midsummer’s Night Dream” as Miss Watson again, and in the last series of” Sherlock Holmes”, she played the title role.

As a result of Kate’s success in her first acting role, the then director Peterloo Films approached her to adapt another popular novel, “The Time Ships”. This time, Kate Rise did not adapt it according to the British law of passivity. Instead, she made a complete character out of herself, and in so doing, raised awareness about heights among the general public. This time, Rise chose to play a character based on Mina Harker, an individual who had been an accomplice of Arthur Holmwood, the famous shipbreaking employer. When she appeared in the fourth installment of “Sherlock Holmes”, the world was introduced to Miss Watson, and Kate was able to enjoy the greatest success of her career.
