Maria Asadi is a famous Nigerian actress and model. She has appeared in a number of high profile movies and is often compared to former supermodel Carol Volderman. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Maria is originally from the predominantly Christian region of Borno state, and it is this religion which has given her both her success and her Height Difference nickname.

Height Difference is a term used by many African women to describe their difference in height – sometimes up to 6 inches. Born in Nigeria, Asadi unfortunately has very little in common with Carol Volderman in terms of religion, or indeed looks. However, through the use of stage makeup, prosthetics and other special effects, she has managed to look almost exactly like Carol Volderman, and perhaps even more. Carol is a much sought after celebrity, and not without reason – her face remains a classic image of beauty and is often used as an image of modern day beauty. Maria Asadi has neither these nor her father’s face, and is instead a famous Nigerian actress and model, known for her excellent physique, often featuring rippling abs or large breasts.

In recent years, however, she has made efforts to distance herself from her native Nigeria and has moved into Hollywood, where she is currently appearing in one of the most high profile films of the year – The Prophecy. This film promises to be an amazing achievement for Asadi, who has often been touted as a future Hollywood sex symbol. Will she achieve the heights that have been spoken of her? We’ll soon find out… But for now, we can admire her stunning Height Difference photograph on the cover of the latest African magazine.
