Dana Embacher is a professional dancer that was raised in the Bible Belt area of Texas. Growing up, her parents encouraged her passion for dance and taught her many of the fundamental dance moves. After high school, she began performing at local country clubs and was scouted by scout scouts from both the United States and Canada. She was then signed by Canyon Entertainer as a sixteen-year-old pro dancer that performed salsa moves that are similar to what is done today on stage. The experience that brought her to the United States to train with noted height difference specialist, Mark Sollerman, lead her to a career that would see her to travel the world and earn gold and bronze medals at the Junior Olympics and beyond.
The two worked together for the next four years to create a program for dancers that would promote health and safety for all participants, offer lessons that were fun and interesting, but would also help to achieve professional goals. They created the Height Difference Series to train professionals on all levels from beginner to pro. Dana now works with companies like Capezio and has a book, The Height Difference Formula, that she offers as a guide to height difference training.
While working at Capezio, Dana also helped design the first ever height difference dance uniforms. She was responsible for creating and promoting the unique garments that dancers wear that are made from only the highest quality materials available. She is currently working as the Brand Development Manager at Capezio where she is helping to develop new and creative products. Her background in ballet and height difference dancing means she knows how to market the garments and other items offered by this line of professional dancewear. She has seen incredible growth in sales since she began working with Capezio.
