Tiffany Depuis is a Canadian-American actress, writer and model. She has been nominated for an Academy Award for her role as Estelle Ginsberg in the movie Precious. She later appeared in the television series The Firm and was again nominated for an Academy Award for her work on the television series Do No Evil. Her other film roles include playing Rose in Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew, playing Camille in the movie adaptation of Pride and Prejudice, and she was also nominated for an Emmy for her work on Duey. Other notable TV and film roles that Tiffany Depuis has had included appearing in episodes of Wheel of Fortune, Grey’s Anatomy, and Judging Amy.

Height and nationality are important factors for anyone who would like to play the character of Estelle in the movie Precious. Depuis is known as being quite short, and it is this shortness that gives her the youngest age for an Academy Award winner (born 37 years, 3 months, and 3 days). Another actor of European descent who has been nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role is British actor Eddie Murphy, whose height is listed at 5-foot 11 inches. Murphy is also of Italian descent, and thus is one of only a handful of actors born in Italy to win an Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role. He is also one of just three actors ever to win the Best Actor award in consecutive year, and the first American male ever to do so.

Height may not be the only determining factor when it comes to choosing a career as an actress. A successful film career may very well depend on whether or not a certain character is written for you. For instance, in the movie The Pursuit of Happyness (2021) Tom Hanks plays a character who is only about five feet eight inches in height. Because of this, some of Hanks best films were those where he had to play characters who were much shorter.
