Fernanda Madaloni is a thirty six-year-old, Peruvian actress and model who has been married to Mario Moretti for the past fifteen years. She was raised in Peru as a child and her parents were both teachers. She graduated from high school in Lima and then studied art in her native Peru, where she became interested in acting after her graduation. After her schooling, she worked hard for two years in the United States assisting in advertising but always made time to return to Peru to continue her education.
Fernanda Madaloni is a petite woman with short dark hair, an olive complexion and is often compared to the well-known Brazilian model Leighton Meester. She has a slim build for a tall woman and was discovered at a casting call in New York by photographer John Collier who signed her to IMG. Within a few months of signing with IMG, she moved to Los Angeles and within six months she was cast in a series of popular commercials for Burger King, Sears, K Mart and Wendy’s. She also appeared on several episodes of the popular soap opera Doctors, a role which earned her two Emmys and led to her becoming one of the best known and most respected faces in network television today.
Fernanda Madaloni is passionate about her profession and her acting. She tells the interviewer that although her favorite thing to do is get dressed up and go to a shopping mall, she would not be able to identify a nationality or culture until she had lived for three years in the United States. As an actress, she has made herself so familiar in the American culture that if you ask her where she grew up she will tell you that she only knows that she was in Peru, married and had two children. In an interview she even identified herself as Peruvian in a meeting with a Canadian radio personality.
