Fernanda Dias is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner, known for her height and strong physique. She is known by the fans as “The Tall One” because of her 6ft+ body figure and muscular physique. Her height is a result from the natural genetic advantage of her lineage, but it was not easy for Fernanda to accept her role as a Jiu Jitsu or because of her small height. Through dedication and hard work, she changed her life and developed into a strong MMA fighter with a very high level of discipline and strength.
Fernanda started her career as a professional wrestler at the age of 18. After that she spent a few years in the Army and also started to train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with the Gracie Barra family. Her first partner was her wrestling coach, Cesar Gracie. He made her understand how important her body is in Jiu Jitsu and helped her improve her game. After working hard with Cesar she decided to join the Ultimate Fighting Championship circuit, which brought her more exposure and success.
In her early days in TNA Fernanda became very good at her role as a top competitor, winning several matches against top opponents like Rene Bonaparte and Hulk Hogan. She later became apart of the Brand names in TNA like Goldust and Kurt Angle. Currently Fernanda is part of the team called The World’s Most Dangerous Women. She has a very successful career as a fighter and as a TNA athlete, winning the world championship in 2021.
