Fall Fashion Trends for 2021

Fall fashion trends are changing all the time, and it is up to you to keep pace with the times or risk looking like a dinosaur. While there are some fashion styles that are timeless such as V-necked shirts, solid colors, and solid footwear, fall fashion trends are much different than the norm. Colorful fabrics abound in fall, from crisp whites and light pinks to deep browns, rich greens, and rustic black. Fall fashion trends also feature a wide variety of shoes that can be classified under fall’s umbrella term of “cloth”. These include leather boots, delicate sandals, elegant clogs, and woolen pumps.

In addition to clothing and accessories, fall fashion trends also encompass accessories, including handbags, scarves, belts, and hats. This last type of accessory is a big departure from what we see in summer. Fall’s handbags, which tend to be smaller and more stylish than their summer counterparts, include the classics (handbags shaped like apples, grapes, hearts, etc. ), embellished satin bags, and unique designer creations in unique materials (stones, crystals, pearls, etc.). Fall’s scarves, again, fall into two general categories: those that are for necklaces and those that are meant to be worn around the head, but do not have a strap.

When it comes to shoes, fall fashion trends are focusing on the ever-changing trends of the season. Open toe shoes (sometimes called sandals) are making a comeback due to the rise of the open heel. This trend features pointed, wider toes, and looks good with any outfit. Flat footed shoes (think Ballet flats) are also making a comeback, as they are both comfortable and easy to walk with. Finally, there are all types of boots for fall – short, tall, ankle, even shank boots. Any type of boot will look good with almost any pants or skirts.
