Fake Fashion Trends Have Become Mainstream
The following article is dedicated to a discussion of the “Fashion Trends of WWD”. We will take a look at the false realities behind some common fashion trends that have become apparent on our streets and in the magazines. In fact, many of the fashion trends that we see promoted by various popular magazines and even by certain celebrities have turned out to be nothing more than fictions. It is high time that we understood these fictions so that we could properly identify them and stop the promotion of these fashion trends which serve only to increase our consumer base.
Let us first consider one of the most widely promoted fashion trends of our time, the ever-so-popular Celebrity Fashion Show. Celebrities and fashion gurus often appear on television or in magazines dressed in very expensive clothes in order to sell off their latest collections. In some cases these celebrity fashion shows are even televised, which serves to further feed the desire for celebrity glamour and allow these celebrities the opportunity to promote their fictions to the masses.
Unfortunately, Celebrity Fashion Shows are fictions. These celebrities and fashion trends are supported by commercial entities in order to sell them to the masses. They are merely trying to cash in on the popularity generated by these trends. The reality of these fashion trends are far from realistic and in many instances they are nothing more than clever marketing strategies.
