Aurora Expeditions is a professional cruise company that specializes in family oriented cruises. The company was created in 1996 as a company that planned and promoted family-oriented sailing vacations. The company now caters to people of all ages and sizes and offers many routes for travelers of all ages and abilities. Several of the ships have been chartered for charity events and other charitable causes.
In its second year of service, aurora expeditions are celebrating the twenty-fifth anniversary of one of their most popular voyages, a seven-day cruise of Hawaii to see the active volcanoes and islands. This gives them an opportunity to revisit some of their most popular remote destinations from past voyages. “This time we’re going to Hawaii with two engines running, which means we can make more revolutions per day than ever before,” said John Pace, a spokesperson for aurora expeditions. “We’re also able to take advantage of a new technology we have called Magnetic Speed Swarms, which is basically an invisible magnetic fence that distributes the power we generate out to the different ports on our route.”
“When you are looking at getting away and exploring the unknown, you need to make sure that you are taking the right type of equipment and that it is suited to your needs and your itinerary. We have been sailing for over ten years, and one of the things that has stayed consistent throughout that time is that our focus is on exploring remote destinations around the world,” said Pace. “When it comes to Antarctica, we have a long history of operating in this unique area. We have made many voyages from the polar regions and one of the things that we have found since we began is that people want to share their experiences. That is what makes aurora expeditions so successful.”
