Erin Ansley has been cast as the leading character in the new movie “NCIS: Hotel”, based off of the hit television series of the same name. The film is directed by Greg Garcia and produced by Voltage Picture Group. Ms. Ansley plays the role of Detoo, an FBI agent assigned to the National Commission of Investigation’s elite international division, who finds herself involved in the middle of an intricate web of intrigue, deception and personal grudges when her own identity is caught in the middle of a cheating case. Her Partner, played by Brad Pitt, is the station chief who has been trying desperately to bring his star employee back into his employ to know that she is not right for the job.

As a former army intelligence officer, Erin Ansley was assigned to the FBI after her service in the Peace Corp; her nationality and gender kept her out of sensitive classified work. By playing the part of an outsider, she was able to escape the rigors of the military but her lack of education and training kept her in a low-level position with limited pay and little direction. Gaining confidence while working alongside other agents, she decided to pursue her dream of returning to the field, and landing a position in the FBI.

Erin Ansley was born in Southern California and raised in Southern Illinois, where her parents were teachers. Her younger years were spent in Hawaii, where her mother loved the beauty of the islands. She attended the University of Hawaii for two years studying communications, but never thought she would one day be starring in a spy thriller directed by David Strathairn. It wasn’t until she started reading mystery novels and watching television programs about such agencies, that she decided she wanted to work in this field. Erin ended up getting a job as an assistant special agent for the FBI in Washington, D.C. Eventually, she was promoted to the rank of full agent and moved to New York City where she assisted in the apprehension and questioning of terrorists. In this role she meets her future partner, Lee, played by Brad Pitt, who ends up falling in love with her.
