Erika TcogoEVA is an entrepreneur who has been working in the property industry for the past three years. She began her career as a property manager for a prestigious Russian organization that developed properties internationally and she is now working with them to develop properties in the New South Wales. As one of the youngest people in the executive team, Erika started working in the company just two months ago and since then she has built a close relationship with the management and the other employees. She is very ambitious person and likes challenges and has taken the path less travelled successfully so far, despite having a young age. She loves to travel and challenge herself, and that’s why she joined the National Association of Legal Officers (NALO).

As part of the NALO, Erika is now trying to achieve her goal of becoming the first woman in a big company to be elected partner of the board. She has done some good work so far and has also met other women who are trying to make their mark in this field. One of her many achievements was being appointed legal counsel for a company in Melbourne, which is located in the wine-producing region in Australia. The company’s owner is a very rich man and as a reward for her services, the owner provided a huge role in helping Erika build the business.

Erika started her career as a manager of properties and now wants to become the first woman in a big company to become a partner of the board. Although she is committed to her mission, she realizes that she still lacks the height difference that would put her at an advantage when it comes to being chosen partner of the board. As a matter of fact, she feels that being a manager in a multinational company is a little different from being in a private company because there’re more networking and consultation that she needs to do in order to get to know the other nationality representatives. She feels that if she is chosen by the board, she will have to give up her international experience, but she does not know yet how she could go about fulfilling such a commitment. She acknowledges that there are certain advantages of being a managing director for a large multinational, but she needs to think about how she could use her skills and knowledge for the benefit of the company and its interests.
