Elena Mottola is the name of a young lady who appeared in the film “Elena on the piano”. Elena was born in Tirana (Greece) and became an orphan at a very tender age. After she was rescued from a brothel by her aunt, Elena Mottola was trained by the pianist Achilleas Zavala. Elena also studied with the great minds of J. S. Bach and Johannes Brahms. Elena Mottola pursued her piano career in Paris, and in the meantime, began a relationship with the son of the French king.
In spite of her many talents, Elena Mottola failed in her chosen profession. The reasons varied, but it finally turned out that she was not talented enough for the profession.
