Elena Miras is a Greek National who was born in Thrace, Turkey. Elena was married to Aristotle, a Greek aristocrat and at one time her husband had the honors of being the Minister of War. Elena’s official title was Minister of Economy but she preferred to be called by her real name as Elena. Elena attended the Corot University in Athens, Greece, for college and graduated in 1963 with a double major in political science and economics.
Elena and her husband were traveling to Germany for a second honeymoon when they were attacked by members of the IRA (Patriotic Union of IRA). Elena was knocked out but survived. Elena and her husband were taken to an island off the coast of Greece, where they were attacked again by IRA. Elena was seriously injured but was able to raise the children while her partner died. Elena was forced to marry Mario Costanelli, the heir to the Costanelli fortune, after he became convinced that she was his daughter. The couple got back together and Mario became a billionaire.
Elena left Mario and moved to England, but not before giving up her Greek nationality. Elena met Antonio Valladares, who was twenty years old at the time. The two fell in love and married in September of 1970. Elena claimed to be a British national but according to the Greek newspaper Kathimerini (the Greek newspaper), Elena only became a Greek because her husband took money out of the bank that belonged to her Greek employer.
