Eliana Atienza, a dancer from Chile who is a national of the Dominican Republic, was arrested on suspicion of sex trafficking and she has been held in solitary confinement without any evidence or charges. This is a huge blow to her family as they have given all the details to authorities with regards to their daughter’s case. They are desperate to find out information regarding her whereabouts as she has a long term relationship with a Spanish national. The only clues that they had been her social security card and birth certificate as both are stolen. They are also suspicious of her activities as she is working as a nanny for another family while working at a nearby kindergarten.
Height and appearance were not uncommon for Eliana until recently, as this was part of her job as a dancer and she also likes to use her height to her advantage. Authorities are still looking into her case, as they are trying to establish whether or not she had sex with the employees of the kindergarten. Her parents have told the investigators that there are inconsistencies between their accounts and police records and have asked that their daughters be released on bail so they can get answers to the questions that they have. The authorities claim that she is their prime suspect and investigations are still continuing. The investigation is being conducted by the Federal Police Department.
Height and appearance are not the only suspicious activity surrounding Eliana Atienza. DNA tests have also been conducted by the authorities to determine whether or not she had sexual relations with the employees of the kindergarten. As of the moment, these tests have been inconclusive. DNA results are not always conclusive and it may take several weeks to complete them. Reports have said however, that tests have shown that there is at least a 50% chance of Eliana having committed the crime since she also has a long relationship with a Spanish national.
