Diana Teixeira is set for a rematch against Claudia Gadelha at UFC 196, which takes place at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena on Saturday night.
Teixeira (11-4) made her way to the UFC after defeating Kailin Curran by first-round rear-naked choke at UFC 161 back on April 1 in Brazil. The Brazilian was then signed by the UFC despite not having earned any wins since her defeat at the hands of Curran. Since then, she has been active on the reality television circuit.
She currently has four wins out of five, including a TKO of Claudia Gadelha at UFC 196 and a unanimous decision over Leslie Smith at the inaugural Featherweight Classic.
