Dana Hamdan is the host of ‘The Nylon Zone’, a satellite TV show that features interviews and discussions with experts in a variety of fields. She is the founder of both the ‘Nationality Solutions’ company and ‘Nationality Spy’. She is currently based in New York City and has a Master’s Degree in English from New York University. Prior to hosting ‘The Nylon Zone’, Hamdan was employed as an assistant producer for MTV’s reality shows ‘The Real World’ and ‘Survivor’. In her role as a casting director for ‘The Nylon Zone’, she was responsible for casting eliminations, developing episodes, and approving script elements.

After working for MTV, Hamdan then became involved in the creation of the popular reality competition show ‘Survivor’. She served as a casting assistant for the initial season before becoming one of the producers. Throughout her career, Hamdan has developed an extensive network of contacts in the casting industry. She regularly appears on national television as a commentator for a number of reputable radio stations as well as appearing at conventions. When casting ‘Survivor’, she has appeared on ‘Dancing With The Stars’, ‘Flavor of Love’, ‘Chopped’, and has even hosted a reality show entitled ‘Dancing with the Stars: Second Chances’. Her numerous roles in television and film have allowed her to hone her acting skills and enhance her knowledge of the film industry.

In an interesting turn of fate, Dana Hamdan married a Pakistani man while still a professional dancer under the age of twenty-one. The marriage was arranged by her family in order to assist her in pursuing her dream career. Over the years, the marriage gradually soured and the couple separated. Although she remained loyal to her Pakistan husband throughout their marriage, she ultimately decided to pursue her own passions and have a normal life. It was at this point that she decided to pursue an acting career, and after much hard work and determination, she finally succeeded in turning her love of dance into a successful and highly in demand career.
