Cynthia Luehr, an American citizen who was raised in Germany has come to be identified as the most distinguished and outstanding Nationality of German in America. In fact, as a matter of fact, this woman made history by being the first ever Nationality that was listed in a United States Federal Court as being of German descent, in the case of Rhinderman v. United States. Therefore, as a part of this historical development, we are presently witnessing the birth of the United States of America as a nation of people of German descent, which is also known as Nationality. It has been established through court cases and records that as a part of her racial heritage, Cynthia Luehr is a dual citizenship of both Germany and the United States of America.

But what does this mean? In the case of Rhinderman v. USA, the issue of the German Nationality was decided in favor of the defendant as it was proved beyond reasonable doubt that she had been falsely accused by her former husband of being a German national while she was actually a dual citizen of the USA and Germany. Her former husband had given her birth certificates of both Germany and the USA, while at the same time he had also obtained a false passport in the name of “Cynthia Luehr” in the USA which was used by his accomplice, a German national. As a result, this woman as a dual citizen of the USA and Germany was declared a foreigner by the US Government and as such had to leave the country.

However, as with many other cases that have been decided and examined as to the question of Nationality, the issue here is not only the issue of false Nationality, but of false birth as well. It has been proven that in fact, Cynthia Luehr is a false German citizen despite the fact of her maintaining a German nationality card with her birth certificate in the USA when she was born in Germany. Furthermore, it has been found that despite her being a US Citizen, she married a German national while concurrently using her German birth certificate for proving her own identity and citizenship. In other words, even while maintaining a US citizen status, Cynthia Luehr, by marrying a German citizen was not fulfilling her statutory rights as a United States citizen and as such had committed an act of falsely portraying herself as a German national.
