Casey Mize is an American pro baseball player currently for the Detroit Tigers minor league team. He was drafted by the Tigers in the first overall selection in the 2021 MLB draft. Previously, he was a member of the Auburn Tigers College baseball team. As a result of his professional experience and above average fastball, his services have been hired by the MLB club to be part of their pitching rotation.
Mize, who is listed at 6 feet and 170 pounds, is known as being a hard throwing right-handed pitcher with a decent but not exceptional change.
