Casey Kaplan is a contemporary art gallery located in New York City, within the United States. It was founded by Kaplan in 1998 and exhibits both indigenous and international works of art. The gallery features work by such contemporary artists as Gautier, Paul Cezanne, Frank Gehry, as well as artworks from artists from various other disciplines, including Printmaking, Decoration, Faux Canvases, and Ceramics. These artworks are displayed in a manner that highlights their relevance and artistic integrity. Their mission statement says that Casey Kaplan believes in “reversing the path of history to create a more just and equitable world”.
Artistic works presented include Portrait, which is the portrait of a woman by its owner, an abstract painting of a landscape by Joana Marcinko, and a photograph of Jesus Christ from the back, an oil portrait by Jose da Silva Pereira, and abstract works of art by Jannick Louboutin. The Portrait by Casey Kaplan was showcased at the World’s Fair Museum in New York City. The work of Joana Marcinko was displayed at the Louvre in Paris.
Casey and her partner John Castera have created many educational programs to share the beauty of indigenous American culture with people of all nationalities and ages. Her nationalities are Brazilian, Portuguese, Japanese, Samoan, Chinese, and Mexican. Her works also include drawings and paintings of North American Indians. Her educational programs also include works on canvas from China, India, Mexico, Russia, and Europe.
