Caroline Lozano: ‘We were the first ones to arrive and were immediately given a warm welcome’
‘What happened to those children was disgusting. Everyone looked shocked to see us.’
Mrs Lozano said she could not believe how ‘disgusting’ and ‘horrifying’ the incident was.
‘We were the first ones to arrive and were immediately given a warm welcome,’ she said.
‘We had to go through the entire process, but as soon as we left the place it seemed so normal. It was like we’d been here before. If you asked us where we’d been before we’d say, “We stayed there for a little while and then we went out with some kids but in between we went shopping”.’
However police are investigating whether the families had been staying at the same place.
The children’s grandparents were brought in and Mrs Lozano said: ‘We spoke to them a little bit – they were worried, they were so scared.’
The grandparents both travelled to Britain on a family holiday to be with the children.
In an Instagram statement the agency said staff went ‘above and beyond’ to assist with the children and their families but said that on Monday an ambulance was dispatched to the home early which found the youngsters unharmed.
