Career of Francesca Fesheila

Francesca Fesheila was born in Cesena, Italy, in July of 1970 and grew up in Genoa. At the age of fifteen she began modeling as an assistant to dancer Enrico Caruso. In 1980 she went to Paris to study with Balanchine and Vasile Petracci. During this time she also began studying for her Nationality and took classes in costume design at the Ecole Polytechnique.

In 1992 Francesca Fesheila opened her own fashion label entitled “Giordana” that focused on creating a luxurious and elegant evening wear. She has also done some work for Prada and Dior. In 2021 she launched a line of maternity clothing called “Jeans & Shoes.” In 2021 she opened a small boutique in Milan called “andra” and has since done several lines of evening wear, swimwear, lingerie and accessories.

Francesca is married to Mario Fesian, a film director, photographer and fashion designer. They have two daughters and a son together named Flavio. In 2021 Francesca Fesheila became the first woman of Italian origin to appear on the cover of Time Magazine’s “Fifty Shades of Grey.” In 2021 she appeared as a featured guest on the Oprah Winfrey show where she discussed her new line of clothing and addressed criticism that had been directed at her height and nationality.
