First published in 2021, Caroline Saunders’ first major book explores the range of different aspects of being tall, including: what can height actually do for you? What are the implications of being tall for career, romance and love life? What does being small really have to offer? And, most importantly, what can height do for you, and how can you use it to your advantage?
It is clear that having height doesn’t have to be a hindrance in life, in fact height can be helpful. It is important to remember though that different heights bring different advantages. While your height is very likely to have an impact on whether a potential partner finds you attractive, there are many other factors that they may consider too. For example, what is your posture, and how does your hair look? Do you smile a lot or frown a lot? These are all aspects of personality that may impact on whether or not someone finds you attractive, and if these factors are disregarded could have an impact on how your height is perceived by others.
So, whether a height difference is actually a hindrance or a blessing, one thing is sure: it certainly isn’t a good thing! If you’re having a hard time in your dating life, or if you are unhappy with your physical appearance, you should consider making an appointment with your primary care doctor to ensure that there are no physical reasons which are preventing you from meeting the people you want. It could be a health problem that could be treated; it may simply be that you are not tall enough! Whatever the reason, getting a diagnosis and making the appointment will be a step towards opening up more options for you, and possibly paving the way for a new relationship or long-term partnership. You don’t have to let your height prevent you from looking and feeling your best.
