The most recent of the Lara Srokowski novels to be written is entitled, Into The Element. This novel is a standalone adventure concerning an earth shattering collision that takes place near the Himalayan Mountains; during an ancient ice age. Our main character, Lara Srokach, is an independent, scientific research scientist; who has been appointed as her country’s first space archaeologist post. On this earth shattering mission, she finds herself amidst a hostile, alien world, in search of lost technology that may have been left behind by ancient explorers.

The book covers many aspects of human growth, or shall we say evolution; and how we adapt to our surroundings. It also includes elements of romance and suspense. The story begins as Lara is requested to accompany her research partner, Dr. Demetri Noh inside an undisclosed government facility on the Tibetan plateau. Demetri is being closely watched and kept under surveillance by agents of the United States Government. As the two women are about to enter the facility, however, they are teleported back in time, to the year nineteen seventy-one, where the two women are captured by an ancient, hostile tribe.

In this alternate history, the two women are each placed in the role of a mother and daughter and are tasked to perform a great duty. This would be to track and retrieve a piece of missing data from an ancient computer database. As the mission progresses, the two women develop a romantic relationship with each other, which is threatened when Demetri discovers that he has been deceived. However, his faith in mankind would ultimately be tested when the mission is to rescue his wife and son from a horde of vampires intent on destroying all life. This novel is another fantastic book in the series, In Search of Forever.
