Bernadette Belle is an actress and model from Canada. She has appeared in a number of movies and has also appeared on television shows such as Q!, Everybody Loves Raymond, I Love Lucy, Housefull, The Firm, Scrubs, and has been nominated for an Academy Award for her contribution to the genre of comedies. She married Tom Selleck, a prominent businessman, in 1998 and they have since become a family. Belle’s official bio states that she is 5′ 7″ in height and weighs in the neighborhood of ninety-three pounds.

In 1998, she appeared in one of her more memorable roles in Everybody Loves Raymond where she plays the character of Rose. In this role she plays the role of a divorced housewife who winds up living with her sisters in New Hampshire with the intention of getting a divorce from her husband. Despite the fact that her sisters are supportive of this, Rose winds up getting dumped by her husband and returns home to New York City to live with Bernadette. There she falls in love with a man named Jeffries, who she later falls pregnant with while working in his restaurant, and subsequently becomes the primary caregiver to her young son, Jasper.

Bernadette is known for her beautiful hairstyle which consists of black hair framing her face, giving her the appearance of long, thick hair. It is this hairstyle that is credited for helping her achieve a number of well known roles and is considered by many, to be among her best attributes. Her national origin has also given her the opportunity to play many different types of characters throughout her movie career, ranging from the glamorous Madame Defarge to the more traditionally European Madame. For example, her birth place is listed as being in Canada, and although her name has changed throughout the years, the information about her Canadian heritage is left completely up to chance. In some sources, she may even have been born in the USA but her identity was merged with that of her nationalities husband, thus resulting in the confusion about her original birth and identity.
