Ashley Mcbryde is an American nation songstress. She releases her self-titled debut album by herself in January 2021. Her second independent record, Elsebound, was issued by Road Life Records in June 2021. An extended tour titled Jalopies and Expensive Guitars was issued by Road Life Records in March 2021. This tour featured notable artists such as Kenny Chesney, Gretchen Wilson, Ne-yo, Amy Waterman, and Ashanti.

Some of the songs on this album were inspired by her native Alabama. Other songs were inspired by both the South and New York City. This project also marked the first time that Ashley Mcbryde has put together a national tour featuring both of her own groups and also joining The Royal City Band with Tim Rice.

Ashley Mcbryde is thirty years old and was raised in south central Alabama by her grandmother. She has been said to have deep musical and artistic roots, as well as a strong sense of family. Her long association with country music, particularly the kind that was inspired by southern women and the women in her life, has been cited as a reason for her successful career as a country singer. She has also worked with several other artists during her career, most notably Leona Lewis and Boz Scaggs. Her extensive musical and recording background, coupled with her winning blend of talent, grace, and charisma has allowed her to reach the peak of success that many sixties and seventies country singers have reached.
