• This article was amended on 12 December 2012 to correct the number of years that a student may stay a student permit after graduation. The article said that only those with permission to study for four years can apply. The correct sentence is: “Those with permission to study for four years may apply”. This has been corrected.

• This article was amended on 8 December 2012 to clarify that a student is allowed a stay of stay for up to 1 year. This has been corrected.

• According to the article, the number of days that a visa can be extended depends upon the length of the stay. This has been corrected. The number of days for a longer stay is not the number of days that a person can have their visa extended, only the number of the days of a person’s stay.

• This article was amended on 4 November 2012 to correct the incorrect reference to the number of days that a person can make contributions to his or her spouse’s benefits package. This has been corrected.

• This article was amended on 1 November 2012 to clarify that a person can be eligible to apply for a residence permit until their age of majority if their visa is for a period of time before their current age. This has been corrected.
