May 9, 2021 Albuquerque Journal By Teri Olcott: “Angelica Gallegos has been my idol. She was my idol when I was a little girl growing up with my family. She had a big heart, loved every minute of her life, always smiling, was always full of life, and never took no for an answer. Angelica was a big fan of the late great Johnny Cash. She sang songs that everyone loves and will always love such as “Blue Hawaii,” “I Remember You,” and “Hail to the King.”

On Sunday, March 16th, Angelica Gallegos was pronounced dead at her home in Albuquerque. A representative from the New Mexico State Police said that they were not releasing any further details at this time. According to police, they are still investigating whether or not the cause of death was a suicide or an accident. A representative from the Gallegos family said that Angelica had been receiving treatment for bipolar disorder and hypertension.”
