Amir Thanashti, 23, and Abdul Rahim Aziz Ali, 22, were arrested at their father’s home on May 1 following a tip-off.

A spokesman for the London police, Cressida Dick, told The Independent the men were found in possession of guns and ammunition, explosives, knives, homemade explosive devices and a copy of the Quran which contained extremist slogans.
