Alice Zoo: An Interactive Zoon is an educational program that encourages young children to engage in the wonder and excitement of an Alice in Wonderland-like zoo. The story begins by teaching the children about nationality, then race, then sex. Then, they learn about the different names for animals, and they start to learn about their characteristics such as the tail or ears; characteristics that are not as obvious to the human eye but are very apparent to other animals. It then introduces them to animals, including birds, reptiles, amphibians, and mammals; finally ending with a look at the wonders of the universe using animals from space.
In the beginning, the children will learn the names of each animal through a very fun and easy-to-use system that asks them to click on the name of the animal with their mouse, providing them with a picture of the animal they just learned about. They will then see a short video of that animal; in this video, they can see how that animal looks, what it eats, how it moves, and what its habits are like. After watching this video, the children will have a better understanding of the animal and its capabilities. Throughout the duration of the Zoon, the children will be encouraged to visit the parks that have animals they are familiar with, such as their favorite pet; therefore, the children are given opportunities to play with the animals at the park. Through different games, such as Pictionary, the kids will be able to make new friends all over again!
Through this wonderful game and with the help of your children’s classmates and leader, Alice Zoon teaches children that they can become leaders by winning the highest score in the end. To do this, the children must find the missing cat in the jungle; after finding it, they must find the clues that will lead them to the location of the missing cat, all the while battling their fears and the curiosity of the others in the Zoon. Throughout the course of the game, you will meet new friends that you can choose to travel with, including Mr. Crocker the Clown and his assistant, Bob the Dinosaur. After all is said and done, Alice Zoo will teach children just how important friendship can be and how by working together, we can learn to become better human beings.
