Aida Osman is originally from Houston, Texas but currently resides in New York City. Aida was a dancer for the Royal Court Dancers School where she achieved success in both dancing and modeling. Later in life, she decided to pursue a career in stand up comedy and has appeared on TV shows such as The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Late Show with David Letterman. She is also a member of the cast of the musical Cats and the suburbs as well as the cast of Everybody Loves Raymond. In her stand up comedy, Aida usually showcases her routines regarding weddings, adolescence, motherhood and dating.
As a performer, Aida has made appearances on some notable late night television programs including Comedy Centrals at Showtime, Inside Comedy at NBC and The Daily Show with Jay Leno. She was also a featured player on the sketch show The Secret Life of Shop Assistants along with fellow comedian and actress Tig Notaro. She has also gained some recognition as a featured artist on the video game Rock Band 3. Stillness & Motion is the first album of her stand-up comedy and was released in 2021. While the album is not a mainstream success, it did sell well and Aida has always maintained a strong fan base.
