Aida Azadi is a prominent Moroccan actress. Born in Rabat, Aida Azadi’s acting career gained immense popularity when her first film ‘Hamma Al Fouda’ was released in 1994. She went on to receive awards for the same film as well as for the performance she gave in the animated film ‘Mani Kayal’. Over the past decade, Aida Azadi had established a good career as a leading actress and is best known for her roles in international movies set in Morocco or in France and Spain.
Aida Azadi hails from Marrakech, one of the most cosmopolitan cities of Morocco. Aida’s features are notable and her career has taken her to some of the finest international film festivals and won her a number of awards including honors at the Sundance Film Festival and the Golden Globe Awards. Aida Azadi has also been nominated three times at the Cannes Film Festival for the Best Actress award for her role as the lead character in the animated film ‘Mani Kayal’.
