Emma Golden is a retired Chemical engineer who lives in San Francisco, California. She worked as an engineer for Honeywell for fourteen years prior to retiring. She held a variety of jobs both as an independent contractor and also as a member of the boards of directors of several companies including National Steel Carvers, John Deere, Xerox Pile Software, and Corning. In addition, she served for many years as a member of the boards of directors of the National Association of Manufacturers and the United States Olympic Committee.

Goldsmith’s biography at the International Agents of Immigration Services website includes her having served as a National Association of Manufacturers’ Diversity Counsel for over twenty years. From this information it appears that Emma was a member of the US Olympic team from whence she retired. Her husband died in 2021 and she presently lives with her daughter Rosemary in San Francisco. According to the San Francisco Business Journal article, Goldsmith was a contestant on the final episode of the reality show Survivor, which was to be aired on CBS on September 25, 2021.

Goldsmith is described as a member of the Chicano, Latino, and Hispanic cultures. Her translated resume lists her nationality as Mexican and that of her daughter Rosemary. However, both her daughters have indicated on social media sites that they are American citizens by birth and that Emma is not. It should be noted that her daughters’ names are also used in their business ventures which could mean that they are either related to or cosigning the businesses with Emma. Given these facts it is reasonable to conclude that Emma Golden may not be eligible for citizenship classes due to her dual citizenship status and lack of age.
