Age of Youth by Erika Hilton

Erika Hilton is the latest face of corporate America. The founder of a very successful internet marketing company called Digital Play, Erika started out as an executive assistant for a well-known lawyer. There she honed her skills in corporate communications and got a very important client: Avi Frister, a well-known singer/songwriter who was looking for a label to put out his music. After that she went on to work with several other recording artists, both young and old, and established herself as one of the more successful creative producers in the business. Now Erika Hilton has jumped into the online realm, where she hopes to help make people understand the difference between youth and old age.

The crux of her job, she says, is to get the average person to understand that “ages” and “identity” are not the same thing. Her website explains that she believes that identity is more of a state of mind, since a person can be young (and still be happily married, if that’s what she wants) and still have a state of mind that will allow them to accept the change that age brings. Age, on the other hand, is something that is beyond our control, she points out, so we should focus on using our minds to accept it and redefine it. She talks about the power of positive thinking:

Her website is loaded with inspiring quotes, and she encourages you to use them on a daily basis. In one place you can also learn about her own philosophies about age, love, and life in general. In fact, she offers a free book study program, where you can read about the chapters and then download them for your own reading pleasure. If you need a little extra motivation to stick with her program, Erika Hilton gives you the chance to listen to a free MP3 album that makes reference to some of the topics she discusses in her books. The Age of Youth is an inspirational guide full of hope and promise – if you can let go of age and embrace the revolution!
