Age Is Not a Qualification

Age is not a commodity; it’s an art. Marianna Gasparyan is a true representative of Russian culture, an artist, a photographer, a writer and a teacher; all rolled into one beautiful, charming individual. Born in Arkhangelsk (Kazakhstan), the beautiful Gasparyan was handpicked by the founder of the famous International Association of Professional Photographer’s Association (IAPA). She is so proud to be a citizen of her homeland, a country where she was called a ‘Cipher’ by her students (age is a factor here). It is fitting that Gasparyan is associated with one of the most sought after artistic professions, photography. Age is just a number, not a criteria.

Age certainly has nothing to do with it. Her talent is more in the way she sees, articulates and brings to life images from subjects of all ages. Her subjects are equally varied, male and female, old and young, educated and illiterate. Her images capture the diversity of life in a country that is as multi-cultural as it is colourful.

Marianna Gasparyan is proud of her husband. They have been together for 20 years and he is like a second father to her children. Age does not deter them from their business and passion. They love their profession, and they are determined to make it better than ever. Marianna Gasparyan is an example of a woman who stuck to her values and achieved a great success in her chosen profession.
