Eliana Pitti is a career woman and has been successful in both her personal and public life. She has held important posts in the Italian government, was Chair of Research at the prestigious Institute of Technology in Milan and also served for many years as a Minister for Gender. A committed social entrepreneur, Eliana Pitti prefers to engage in issues concerning women’s, children’s and ethnic rights. She was elected as Member of Parliament for Veneto in 2021 and has since gained considerable support from a wide range of party members. She is strongly committed to the role of a government representative and to representing the people of her constituency.
Eliana is a passionate and tireless advocate for the causes of women and children and against all violence against them, especially towards women. As a lawyer, she has made special efforts to increase the number of women lawyers and assistants available to women and children who have been subjected to domestic and sexual violence. This is a tremendously rewarding career and she enjoys meeting and helping new people every day.
Eliana Pitti married her husband Mario earlier this year. She has four children that she loves very much and she has dedicated herself to being a good mother. She has maintained her nationalities, being born in Genoa and Sicily and also living in Florence and London. She has a long experience in international law and worked for different Italian Governments and other agencies. After her marriage to Mario she settled in Rome and joined the firm of Paget El Giardini as a legal advisor.
