A Review of the Parkside Laptop Backpack by Timbuk2

The black and dusk pink Parkside Laptop Backpack by Timbuk2 is an all in one stylish laptop backpack capable of carrying a 15″ MacBook within an internal zip pocket. This is situated within the top main zipper compartment that can easily accommodate your larger items such as a jacket or textbooks. The front flap also has an adjustable cord holder and a fold out pen holder. The outer zipper pocket also offers a removable shoulder strap which offers a comfortable hold during long days of hiking or traveling. It has two main compartments, each featuring their own padded dividers with a zip closure.

It is almost a perfect bag for taking a laptop with you for a hike in any forested trails, even to the beach if there are some sandy beaches nearby. I found this backpack in a local gift store near our house, and I ordered it right away since it was on my must-have list. Since it is really hard to choose what to put in a backpack, I decided to order this one right away since it had all the necessities and was also inexpensive. This bag has a spacious main compartment with lots of pockets (and even more compartments underneath if you need them) and a two year warranty against material and workmanship. I really like the fact that Timbuk2 includes an elasticized external side pocket that allows you to store your water bottle while on the hike.

One thing that disappointed me about this backpack is the fact that it did not have an internal organizer pocket for my macbook. It would be great if this backpack could also accommodate my other backpacks – like an overstuffed hiking pack, for example. Otherwise, this laptop backpack does the job just fine for hiking and short trips. I also think that the straps should be padded so as not to cut my hands during hiking.
