Juliana Prado was born in the little town of Sayulita, Mexico, and she is an award-winning writer who has managed to create eighty-five books that are not only interesting and informative but also very entertaining. These are books that I buy often because they keep me really busy, and I would recommend them highly to anyone who enjoys reading. Her most famous book is called Forbidden & Restored, and this one takes you inside the mind of a beautiful woman from the time she was a young girl. This is where you get introduced to Juliana’s profession as a psychotherapist, as well as her early days as a writer.

This is a fantastic collection of short stories, and the writing style is clear without being too intrusive. The structure is rather different to many other collections of short stories, and this is important because it keeps things moving. It is also interesting to note how Juliana keeps her descriptions of the people and places in this book specific, which is important because this helps you remember what was mentioned in a scene when the section comes to an end. It is this detail that I appreciate the most.

There is a lot to like and admire about Juliana Prado’s writing, and I would recommend all her books to people looking for a deep, meaningful reading with a hint of the absurd. Her observations on our society and how the media portrays some things are spot on, and I really like that she seems to have a keen sense of the absurdity of some of our societal customs, and an ability to show us how absurd those habits can be. That is rare, and if you are a lover of absurdity you will really enjoy reading about it. If you are looking for something a little more serious, but still full of fun and fantasy, then this is definitely a great choice. It is refreshing to read a book like this one, and it is also refreshing to look at the way people have grown throughout the years, and the changes that have occurred in our world of course.
