While working as a sound editor for MTV, Abigail made a few recordings with her friend, guitarist and singer-songwriter Mike Birbiglia (of the band Sky [Reflection of Light]). Mike and Abigail decided to create their own subwoofer called the “Wii Fit”. They used it in a song called “Papados” from the 1994 album No Rest for the Weary. Their musical side project was recorded by rap artist Kanye West.
